If she was honest, a part of Kara was relieved that Barry hadn't noticed anything. She hadn't seen or heard anything, either. As much as it meant that they were wasting their time in the sky in this terrible — dangerous — weather, it also meant that no one needed help and no one was going to get hurt. She'd just have to keep an open ear until the rain stopped and if she heard someone arrive later, she'd go find them.
"Thanks, I think," she laughed as she flew them down toward the ground before shifting them perpendicular to it to land. "I would've heard something and you would've seen something, so I think it's okay," she replied as they touched back down on the ground and she let go of him, stepping back to push her soaking hair out of her face. "But I had to check. Come on, show me where you want to wait out the storm," she said, remembering that he'd mentioned a place he thought could withstand it.
